Starting his career in 1969 with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he gained invaluable experience in the industry working with M/s Ion exchange India Limited before transitioning to the elevator sector. His initial years with market leader M/s OTIS provided him with the foundational expertise and exposure to various aspects of elevator technology.
In 1978, fueled by his ambition and desire for excellence, he co-founded City Lift and Engineering Company with a vision to deliver superior quality elevator services. The success of this endeavor propelled him to venture into manufacturing with the establishment of City Lifts (India) Pvt Limited in 1985, setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Thane.
Recognizing the potential in the high-speed elevator segment, he embarked on a journey of innovation, investing in R&D to develop cutting-edge technology and high-quality products. His relentless pursuit of excellence resulted in City Lifts becoming a listed company in 1993, marking a significant milestone in its journey.
Beyond elevators, his visionary leadership extended to diversification into automated car parking systems, positioning City Lifts as a pioneering player in both verticals. Today, City Lifts stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, with a strong presence in high-speed elevators and high-end car parking solutions.
His journey from humble beginnings to achieving remarkable milestones, from 0.5 mps to 5.0 mps speed elevators, serves as an inspiration to all aspiring entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
